It has been a common practice that if someone’s habitat is snatched, there is a retaliation to claim it back. The same is being observed with wild life, which are entering the human colonies with the message that if jungles are cut, they will try to find their place in the houses made by people. There have been many instances of leopard entering schools, buildings and other places, causing panic among the people of those places. Who is responsible for this panic? Are these wild animals or the wilder animals like humans? To answer this question, we need to dig deep to find out that it is the selfishness of humans that have forced these animals to search for shelter in human places. The restlessness among animals due to loss of habitat drives them to find alternative place for their survival. When they enter the human colonies, they caused restlessness among the inhabitants. It is grim reminder to the humans to stay within their limits. If any encroachment happens on the space of animals, it will cost the people dearly.
The increase in urbanization has led to indiscriminate cutting of trees. Every time a tree is removed, the habitat of so many organisms is taken away. Some of them like birds may not be capable of retaliating, but the wild animals like Leopard, Tiger and Lions have the capability to destroy the destroyer of their habitat. Human beings are just one of the several organisms living on the earth. If we try to invade the regions reserved for other animals, there is bound to be a confrontation. In this confrontation, wild animals are strong enough to make their point clear.
